How do I become a broker?
It’s easy and quick to become a broker of Bright Finance. All you need to do is complete the simple form which is available on-line on the Broker page by clicking on Register at the top of the page. In completing the form you will be required to give details of your Consumer Credit Licence and Data Protection Registration Number in addition to details about your company registration. Once you’ve submitted your form we will normally be able to complete your registration as a broker within 2 days.
What happens to the information I enter through the portal? Is it secure?
Bright Finance takes computer security very seriously and has a team dedicated to ensuring all of our systems are protected. The Bright Finance website and broker portal has been rigorously tested to ensure it’s security and so you can be confident passing your information through our portal.
In what format can I send applications to you?
Our aim is to be flexible and so we offer a wide range of options for sending us your customer applications. You can use the call my customer option so that if you don’t have all the information we can gather it from them. Alternatively you can download a PDF of an application form and either you or your customer can complete this and post it back to us. Finally if you have a high volume of customer applications then you can use our bulk upload facility.
Whatever your chosen method you can then be confident that Bright Finance will be working hard to place your customers within our comprehensive panel of lenders, covering the whole of the market.
What do I do if I forget my username or password?
That’s no problem – just Email broker@brightfinance.co.uk. In the Email include your name and the email address you use to log into the portal. We’ll then email you by return with a new password. The first time you log in using this new password you’ll be prompted to change it so you can choose something more memorable for you
I can’t see some of my cases in the tracker, what should I do?
If the tracker doesn’t show some of your cases please either call 0800 195 0570 and speak to a member of the Partnerships team or Email us at broker@brightfinance.co.uk and a member of the team will investigate and report back to you within one working day.
What do I do if my details change?
If any of your details change then please email broker@brightfinance.co.uk confirming the information that requires updating. We’ll then update our records and confirm your ongoing accreditation.
When will I receive my commission?
We calculate commissions monthly, generally on the 20th of the month following the payout of the loan. Once commissions are calculated we will e-mail you a commission report which will detail your completions. Payment will be made by BACS payment direct into your bank account.
What help will Bright Finance offer me in servicing my account?
You can benefit from help from our dedicated Client Relationships team at any time, through a variety of means to suit your needs. So we’ve set up a dedicated telephone number 0800 195 0570 direct into our Partnerships team or you can email the team at broker@brightfinance.co.uk. You can also benefit from the tracker, available on our Portal which gives you comprehensive information on the progress of all your applications that Bright Finance are handling on your behalf.
