Bright future after speedy exam success

Two of Bright's compliance officers

Two Sheffield compliance officers were quick off the mark - by studying and passing tough mortgage exams within a mere ten days!

Mark Hadley,31, (pictured right) of Woodseats, Sheffield, and Rosemary Appleyard, (pictured left) of Horbury, Wakefield, who both work at Chapeltown-based Bright Finance, studied the Certificate of Mortgage Advice and Planning (CeMAP) through the IFS school of finance.

Despite enrolling for the course last year, work and family commitments meant they only started working for their three exams just six weeks before they actually sat them. They both only spent six study days and two full weekends preparing for the exams.

"We have both worked really hard and put a lot of commitment into our studies..."

Mark, Bright Finance's compliance and policy adviser, said: "We have both worked really hard and put a lot of commitment into our studies in a very short space of time."

Rosemary, Bright Finance's Head of Compliance and Risk, added: "We booked the exams and started working for them in mid September and took the exams at the end of October - and have just discovered we've both passed!"

Paul Hancock, Chairman of Bright Finance, said: "Congratulations to them both. They have worked really hard for, and passed, these qualifications in a short space of time. The qualifications will help them in their day to day work at Bright Finance."

Mark Roberts, Head of Faculty Financial Regulation at the IFS School of Finance, added; "Mark and Rosemary have done well to have passed this rigorous examination so speedily. Clearly their existing knowledge and experience has been of great benefit in helping them to achieve such success."
